>new station doing piece on local resident feels Elora secrets overlooked > created audio guide > one of the stops is the stairs down to the gorge (least hidden gem) damn why didn't I think of monetizing this 😅

yeah, and as someone who did work in a lab where I was for a time the only native English speaker, I was always happy to review manuscripts before submission. Usually the issue isn't grammar, it's more that the way in which something was said being unclear which an LLM may not fix (and may worsen)

The next time someone tells me we need to allow LLMs because it levels the playing field for international students and scholars, I will be ready with this footnote. And I'm going out of this high note for the week. Happy Friday everyone!

students of the laïcité case law may recall that the movement has actually done some good things on the front of freedom from religion (mostly freedom from imposed Christianity, btw)... so when people are acting like the Mont Royal cross or grandfathered in school names are a gotcha, no, it isn't

when ppl be like "bike lanes silly because half the year is unbikeable" I gotta wonder what location in Canada they are talking about this year aside, as a cross-country athlete our champs are outdoors on grass at the end of November and most years there isn't snow (or, just a dusting)

yeah... this is why elite athletes who are subject to doping testing are advised over and over to NOT take supplements that aren't third party certified (e.g. NSF for sport). A lot of them contain banned substances such as hormones or diuretics (masking agent)

Other examples just (similar to the example from OP) straight-up have undisclosed prescription meds in them. I think i remember one in particular that was a "women's health" blend that just had estrogen in it?

bad argumentation 101: "people who want perma DST could just shift their work hours rather than oppress every body else" ok, if it's that easy for workers to dictate their own work hours, why don't early birds do the same lol. Ask your boss if you can start at 10.

I got one of these (programmed oopsie at the beginning to make it seem human) but it was in fact for a legitimate charity Don't think the chatbot's strategy of demeaning me when I said I was unemployed/had no money to spare was very effective lol

Comfortably Numb@numb.comfortab.ly · last wk.

Fucking AI spam calls trying to sound human "Hello! *sneezes* excuse me, hehe, did you get our final notice, or did it get lost in the mail?" "All mail burned in an inferno fire" "So sorry to hear that, you're understandable upset"

not me accidentally causing celiac group drama for repeating the official Canadian physician guidance for celiac diease monitoring, which directly states that elevated serology after a year generally mean continued gluten exposure lol
