Started my week with an epic campaign launch and ended it with a crew of new volunteers learning how getting out to talk to voters for the first time. With a little bit of merch switching and a viral parliamentary speech in between. A good week.

I think all the time about this yarn I had with a mate of mine where we realised that we both inherently distrust people finding us physically attractive believing that instead it must all be down to our winning personalities. Which is deeply funny when you think about it.

Last night, Women in Sport Aotearoa, alongside InsideOut and the Clare Foundation launched a new toolkit for community sports providers to support the participation of transgender and nonbinary people in sport. Filling the gap created by the deletion of the previous guidance by the Minister of Sport

I used to be able to run fast. Was the regional 100 and 200m champ. But even then, Zoe Hobbs would absolutely DOG WALK me in my prime. I can only imagine what it would feel like to move that quick. Totally exhilarating and in that wet?? So we know she can go quicker 🤯

Opened Facebook and for the first time in a while didn’t immediately open marketplace. Was rewarded by seeing an older guy from a past life had updated his relationship to its complicated.

Ahead of today’s Super Rugby Aupiki final, final word goes to our captains. Grace Brooker of Matatū and Maiakawanakaulani Roos for the Blues. If you’re in Christchurch, GET THERE! It’s gonna be the icing of on the cake of this epic season.

Saw a tiktok where someone was talking about an “all you can eat yum cha” in Welly for $38 or $48 for “premium” that’s time limited to a 1.5 hour session. And excuse me but I have eaten all I can at every yum cha I’ve ever been to. Have never spent more than $40 and get to chill before moving.

I’ve been thinking a lot in the last 24 hours how for the first time in my life, I feel like my fandom in rugby has felt appreciated. And just how validating that has been. Something for me to write on in the wash up of this season.

Funny what stories about you other people remember hey? Like my mate was reminding me about the time we were out for dinner and my other friend was gifted one of those novelty umbrella hats and then some drunk dude from another table came and poured water all over her. So then I jumped up all mad
