such a strange piece. I agree with her art criticisms but she ignores how the industry works. all of the books referenced are published by the major houses. whatever judgments the author has about "millennial fiction" (lol) should be leveled at the editors and publishers who make business decisions.

my game is like 90% art and writing (the gameplay mechanics are pretty simple, just normal adventure game interactions). I have no interest in using AI for the artistic components, and the programming feels like fun problemsolving, so I'm not using any AI tools in my game
