This is a (processed) image of a candidate gas giant that's just been discovered around Alpha Centauri A. It's about the mass of Saturn and orbits the star at 2 AU. By analogy with the Solar System, this giant planet may well have moons and a ring system. And it's (figuratively) just next door.

Mas aproveito a ocasião para pedir aos veículos de mídia que evitem utilizar concepções artísticas dos planetas em linha reta (mesmo que o texto explique o contrário), pois isso induz o leitor ao erro ⚠️
