A detained US greencard holder's lawyers don't know where he is. They were told he was being held in one facility, yet when his wife went, she was told he was not there. (h/t @premthakker.bsky.social). When reporting these facts in other contexts globally, we call this disappearance.

Okay so you know I like to remind everyone how the American immigration system has been cruel for a very long time. But loading people on flights to deport them to countries that they are not from, like Iranians to Panama, is not business as usual.

I'm looking forward to gathering again in a few weeks <3 Join us for collective community reflection & growing connections that can sustain our work around Queerness & Learning. I'd love to see you!

I hope that the ceasefire deal truly means an end to the vicious, murderous bombardment of Palestine and I also know that there are not enough ceasefire deals to cover the dead. The United States supplied the weapons and Israel used them. Never forget. Free Palestine!!!

I'm reading news of an imminent ceasefire deal. I'm praying that the violence truly stops, that we don't see drawn-out death by another name. I pray that we all stay alert and awake regardless of what comes next. None of us are free until Palestine is free and a ceasefire is not freedom.

Let today’s Capitol Hill bathroom sit-in spark an era of radical defiance. Trans folks refuse to bow to hate and bigotry. We demand dignity and respect. We will fight like our ancestors. We are building with our elders and peers. And trans youth will inherit a better world. 📸: Alexa Wilkinson

Activist Raquel Willis, a Black trans woman, is wearing a white shirt that says “Gender Liberation Movement” in black letters , black leather coat, and black pants. She is being escorted by a police officer in uniform. The scene takes place outdoors, with a red pickup truck and several other police officers visible in the background. She appears composed while being led away.

my latest @teenvogue.bsky.social: I interviewed trans teens across the U.S.—including L.W., the 16-year-old at the heart of U.S. v. Skrmetti—on their fears and anxieties about the threat of gender-affirming care bans and a looming Trump admin. "Trans healthcare is suicide prevention, at its core."
