my least favourite genre of bluesky user is hands down the guy who searches a #thing and replies on it to every living soul that has mentioned it
Started typing a tweet into the search bar for some reason omfg I'm so stupid

Been replaying Morrowind and found an area I've never seen before, weird!
I've been thinking of how "good roleplaying value" in rpgs is usually described as letting the player doing whatever they want, but the problem is that the restrictions will always be there and I'm more interested in how the game can turn its restrictions into narrative advantage
deleting a big ass game probably feels good as fuck for the computer
A lot more cautious about that one, really really don't like it for stepping down from f1 in terms of consistency and cohesion, but remember it being an amazing fun sandbox
#yup still the goat, it's genuinely amazing how its airtight focus, consistency and cohesion still make it feel fresh and better designed than a huge chunk of the entire genre, despite being nearly 30 years old. Aged perfectly aside from stupid ass interface. Glad I revisited it!
Why not. It's been years.
#hamwrites this was meant to be a standard review on a That MMO expansion but quickly spiralled into me having a slight crisis over trying to review a game that's changed too much to note

nuka cola uses artificial sweeteners, i think the cause of radiation is not the nukes
damn who tf is the time limit even for 😭😭😭even if i went to Boneyard beforehand and max out all the quests I'd still have like 50 days left at worst, all I did is following natural clues, I didn't even use any meta knowledge from previous playthroughs
Yeah, short (c)rpgs are genuinely the best. I really don't like the fact that rpgs being overwhelming and content-dense has become the accepted norm, focus and brevity fits this genre so much more imo
Why not. It's been years.
First time I'm seeing contrails in 4 years and it's a fucking rocket💔💔💔💔
i am genuinely baffled by just how much cool shit is there in Maj'Eyal, like is that FUCKING CRASHED UFO DUDE????
Kind of made me finally understand how much I love the games with airtight focus and thematic core, where every single element is beautifully intertwined with each other to make a cohesive whole, especially in ludonarrative aspect. It's just perfect. Play it.
What is a game you feel really influenced your tastes/think more people should play?
The worst thing a work of fiction can make me feel is that I'm smarter than the writer. That I could've handled it better. That I can come up with a better resolution. Like it's the fucking worst, I should NOT be feeling superior, on par is the FURTHEST I should be able to go
fuck i found out obsidian were also allegedly working on a Shadowrun game, damn, FUCK microslop with all my heart
I'm not optimistic about a new Fallout by Obsidian by any means, but everyone collectively dogging on Avowed as *the* definite proof it will be bad is pissing me off, because that game wasn't even that bad I'm also pissed about Avowed 2 cancellation cause Mask of the Betrayer writer was on the lead
kinda wanna make a small maj'eyal write up, but i feel like i gotta get my first clear before i do that
