ngl, the vast, vast majority of positive interactions I've had with people on bsky have been with trans people, and I love this. The exception is a single trans musician who blocked me for an unknown reason. It sucks, but I have no way of asking her why without violating boundaries, soooo... bleh.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

My trusty ol' gaming laptop half-died at some point in the last few years and I didn't even notice. Plugged it in today out of curiosity and the MXM card isn't working anymore. The laptop works fine with no MXM in it, but at that point, it might, maybe, be able to play Solitaire. Maybe.

Never enough 2112 in a day. 3D printing estimated finish time! Is it too soon to start counting down to the RUSH concert on the 9th?!

Sometimes, I want to get back into Wuthering Waves, or Star Rail, but the catch-up just seems so incredibly daunting. Ugh.

Linux friends (if I have any/many), Parsec vs. Moonlight/Sunshine, any thoughts? Parsec is a super polished product. I'm just not sure which one delivers a better overall experience, and I think that having a direct connection (minus man-in-the-middle connection agent) is probably better.

Eternal reminder of how dumb programmers can be when they assume: Bluestacks just told me to install on my SSD (including my RAID 5) instead of my RAID 10 of... SSDs. Because a SAS SSD RAID 10 is "slow", right?

Following my desire to use a server as a streaming/gaming PC, it has occurred to me that Xeons are (unfortunately) really shitty at doing most gaming properly. So, I'm gonna run the games on my i9-14900K (Windows, snore), then stream them to the server and use OBS from there. Because why not.
