From Angers to Bourges I had my first trip on an SNCF Intercités train, formed of another Régiolis! I then had an explore of Bourges to see the the beautiful cathedral 😍 Sadly time to head towards home now, starting with a TER to Paris 🇫🇷

Next up is a very nice Regiolis from Cholet to Angers! Only had an hour to wander around Angers before my next train, I’ll definitely need to come back as it’s amazing 😍

From Vannes I went to Redon for a quick change to Nantes where I had the evening to explore 😍 Such a good city and the public transport is free on weekends!

Bit delayed on the way back up to Auray so I missed the connection I’d planned. Fortunately they held the next one though, the TGV to Paris for 23mins which I took for a short hop to Vannes! No way would that be held in the UK 😂

From Quimper I went to Auray to change for the branch line to Quiberon! A very nice town on the coast and of course with a château 🇫🇷

Quimper 🇫🇷 For most trains it’s the end of the line except for a few that continue to Brest. It’s also a beautiful city 😍

Started my day this morning at France’s westernmost station, Brest! Slowly heading back towards Paris but along a different route starting with an AGC to Quimper 🇫🇷

Brest 🇫🇷 Had the evening to explore last night, which of course had to include a trip on the cable car 😁

Morlaix 🇫🇷 A beautiful town with a massive viaduct over it! 😍 You can walk over the middle bit which is very fun 😁

Back to Rennes from the beautiful station in Vitré where I changed there for another TER to take me further. 16 double decker coaches and it’s still busy!

Vitré 🇫🇷 Wow, what a place! 😍 The castle is amazing and even impressed the cat!

Quick wander around Rennes before my train this morning. A very nice city that I’ll most likely be back to at some point 🇫🇷

Good morning from Rennes! 🇫🇷 Took a quick time lapse of my metro heading towards the city with a nice sunrise this morning 😁

Quick connection in Paris from Gare do Nord to Montparnasse, which feels a lot like Euston 😂 Then time for a TGV non stop to Rennes where I end my day

Another long weekend so another trip to the continent! 😁 373222 will be taking me through the tunnel to Paris this afternoon 🔥🇫🇷

Very nice journey to Crewe hauled by the very powerful 82227! 🔥 Had just enough time to head over to platform 12 where the 200th pendolino 390200 was having a rest before required 390155 took me down to Euston

Back at Caerdydd Canolog where 82227 is ready to haul me and 67010 towards Manceinion! 🔥🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Was originally going to get off at Henffordd but as the train from there was cancelled instead I’m staying on to Cryw 😁 153382 is also seen leading the pair to Doc Penfro 😍

A few more required units ticked off on my way back to Cardiff 😁 756106 from Ffynnon Taf to Radur 150208 from Radur to Llandaf And 756105 from Llandaf to Caerdydd Canolog 🔥

First time on a 398! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 398028 becomes my first one for haulage for a short trip to the Bay then back to Taffs Well. Quite like these, the interior looks good and the seats are comfy. Big improvement over a 150 😁

Slow route to Caerdydd today to avoid paying peak time GWR prices! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 When I arrived, required 153909 along with 153323 was waiting to take me to Llanharan 🔥🔥 Unfortunately though that meant getting a 150 back 🤮

Cambridge South ✅ A very nice station, I’m impressed! Just would be nice if it had a ticket office too. Once again that’s every station in Great Britain & Liechtenstein done 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇱🇮✅

Nice sunset at Granham this evening, as 91105 waits to head north to Leeds 😍 Of course all the power comes from the class 82 at the back though 🔥

Bucket list journey: Carlisle - Nottingham ✅ 4h40mins and 192miles behind a pair of 158s, and I believe it’s the longest Northern journey 🔥

Quick revisit to Wetheral! Was dark when I ticked this one off and I’ve wanted to come back to the viaduct in the daylight since then. And of course I ended up with the Northumberland Line 158 too 😁

First time on Lumo West Coast! Had 222604 on its second day in service from Euston to Carlisle this morning, and I managed to get a seat in the nice ex first class carriage 😁 Quite a busy train until Preston where it mostly emptied out

First train to London this morning, wonder what I could be up to 🤔

Sadly can’t stay in Scotland forever, so I came home on the sleeper from Glasgow to Euston, my first time on the lowlander!
