We get Flame Form's debut in Episode 8, and the G3 plot starts to progress. This shot is so cool! Also, Hojo's such a bitch lmao. It's pretty cool how the show manages to juggle all these plots and endears you to each of the main trio's supporting casts in such a such time.

Episode 7 & we start get into Mana's backstory & it's really sweet. I appreciate the levity coming from Shouichi's side balancing out Agito's depressing story. Like, Agito fails to save so many people from this Unknown, & the murders are absolutely brutal. He loses big time here.

Episode 6 is Gill's first appearance and Ryou's plot really feels like a trendy TV drama romance plot. It really was a different time for Rider writing, but it still holds up. Some of the special effects, though, unfortunately....

Episode 4 has Machine Tornador's debut & my God, I miss when actual bike action was this common in Rider. Curse Japan's traffic safety laws. And it really needs no mentioning because of how iconic it is, but holy shit, Believe Yourself really is an all-timer insert song. Even back-to-back every EP.

Rider VS Rider is to be expected nowadays but to have this so soon in Episode 3 especially right after Kuuga must've been pretty shocking, even if it's a fakeout This episode also has some nice B plot levity, Shouichi's really the perfect MC for this show

It's really cool that only in Episode 2 that we get to see Shouichi actually transform into Agito, and it's still obscured. Them putting an actual lamp into the belt and shooting a few shots of him fighting like this rocks so hard. Early Heisei really had the juice for unique shots.

Starting a rewatch thread on Kamen Rider Agito and timing it so I can finish by the time the new movie drops in local theaters! Episode 1 starts real slow & really pushes the mystery aspect of it. Almost shot like a horror movie. I wish Rider shot more outdoor scenes at night, it's so good
