I want to get a digital piano again but last time I had one I was informed that they could easily hear me playing (while using headphones) since the force from playing carried. I'm worried this will be the case here, too. I'm on the top floor so have no frame of reference for this building.

Still ruminating on A Woman Under the Influence. Not sure what exactly to take away from it but I think ambiguity is likely intentionally baked in. A quality watch, but not always an enjoyable one. (1/2)

In other news the way RetroSpy does communication for MiSTer is kinda horrifying. It uses SSH. Each line of text is a "packet" of up to 1024 chars that the client printf-s out. It encodes the binary data to text by turning them into the characters '0' or '1'. 1024kB? Nope. 1024kb. 128B to play with.
Updated MiSTer yesterday. GameSir stops working until I unplug and replug (have to wait a bit) whenever I switch core or boot. I had to add a "quirk" to the u-boot.txt to get this to work. I'd never have found this out if I didn't have a friend I could pester who works with the kernel for their job.

I keep jumping any time I see blotches longer than they are wide and darker than the surrounding environment. I managed to startle myself by putting a burn on my thumb into my peripheral vision when I moved it up to my mouth.
