Star Wars: Return of the Jedi originally had several women portraying Rebel pilots during the final battle. Most of their scenes were cut. The one woman who can be seen on screen had her lines dubbed over by a man.

For me, it's how the punk on the bus in Star Trek IV actually wrote and recorded the song that he's playing because he was annoyed the original song they had didn't sound punk at all.
