This evening we can reveal that the total number of complaints received about the promotion of Pride within Essex Library Service prior to its social media ban was zero. ZERO COMPLAINTS WERE RECEIVED. We were told that the leadership was responding to public concerns.

To be fair it always seems to be the same discourse each time. Just everyone discussed it. Forgets it, and then discusses it all over again from scratch like a broken record.

Can people stop reposting the posts we made about the website being down? It's fixed! We literally mentioned it was fixed lower down in the thread!

Sometimes I dip into discourse on the odd occasion, and today is such an occasion! Seeing stuff about being careful what you post. And it does often surprise me how people can post stuff without thinking, just a little bit. Or just letting their egos talk.

My photos should be up soon. I'm reviewing them and the focus on the camera is super f*cking weird but will see how things develop.

My feelings on this case are so mixed that I could bake the batter into a cake.

My parents have gotten a new kitten. And this kitten is the fluffiest, floofiest kitten I've ever seen.

Shocked and horrified about what happened in Berlin Pride today. My thoughts are with those affected.

I've been quietly taking a break from WTT since April. Trying to regain energy and get things in my life sorted. I made a very specific exception to London trans pride. And thank god I did. Seeing the catharsis there. The gigantic crowd and getting back into the fray with reporting helped so much.

The hype around Lia Thomas was a manufactured moral panic, full of false claims of trans people stealing awards from cis women. Science backs up that we do not hold an advantage. So, even if a trans person dominated their sport, this would not be a reason for exclusion. It just means she is good
