At least I know the creeper is alive and well, I don't get many dislikes, but it's pretty telling when over 90% of them from the past year are from California, while only 4% of my views are from there ;)

I'm beginning to think BG3's current patch may be the buggiest of them all - my latest solo playthrough has had me falling through floors, taking fall damage by opening a door, enemies ignoring glyphs, aoe's not hitting things dead center in them, and attacks just not firing...

Taito, are you sniffing around in the corners or something, I swear I was just talking about a Lufia re-release/remaster/etc. on stream (looks like it's just going to be a re-release of the first 2 games, not sure which versions though)

While waiting for stream to start - gotta ask, where did this idiotic notion that anti-gen-ai artists think slop-coding is fine? Maybe I'm at a weird intersection of folks - but most the artists I know personally are anti-slop even in coding. Maybe it's because a lot made their own gallery sites...

oh god... the new youtube dashboard changes are... even worse than the last ones, with everything taking more clicks to reach - and it's buggy to boot (doesn't save customization options) Only have it on my namesake channel - not LPE or the Education channel... but not looking forward to this.

Hanlon's Razor: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" We need something similar for techbros/altright/etc folks: "Never attribute to intelligence that which is adequately explained by stupidity" It's not 4D chess, it's not "just trolling", they're just wrong.

I don't know why, and I probably won't watch it anyways, but I can't be the only one annoyed that it's not "The End of Park Street" rather than "The End of Elm Street" (or at least some other pun like "Bet Jur-ass-it's Park Street")

Just a reminder - if a new setting requires you to go in, and opt out of it manually, especially with these larger companies - chances are they already know it's going to be unpopular. Usually the objective is for it to remain ON for people that aren't told about it or that are inactive.

Is it just me, or are the downsizing announcements sounding more and more like they're removing people from the circle of life, rather than removing their positions?

I don't think YouTube's partnership changes are going to do what they (google) or Newtubers think they're going to do... Slop relies heavily on volume, not quality - and can hit those numbers with far worse "per video" performance than conscious content.

seriously - if you want me to notice your game's emails, almost every press agency works mon-fri - so send that stuff on Saturday and Sunday lol Those are usually my catch up days - since the email volume is 1/10th of what it normally is, so you'll be right up near the top ;)

Just another reminder to Indie Devs - if you're doing a release discount to get extra notifications, you need to do 20% on steam to make it give the bell notification for discounts, less than that and you're giving up one major notification avenue, which greatly reduces the visibility.

I think there's some confusion about what the LPE channel is - there's a reason it's minimally edited: It's a channel of receipts for reviews and games, the focus isn't growth, it's transparency as to how I came to my opinions on a title, and to show off raw experiences with games I can't review.

Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli. Would say it's "Normal" mode for me - I rarely watch movies repeatedly... so I'll make it harder by not picking an English movie...

Just a reminder - if you want day 1 reviews, or even just day 1 videos - you need to give creators/press/etc. access before release. Use those Beta keys. I'm seeing this ignored more and more, especially at 'new' pr companies, new indies, and even older pr companies that have switched to ai emails.

My misreading of a recent post someone shared about a dream of drowning in the Mariana Trench - made my brain think about how sacrifices to the flying spaghetti monster would obviously need to happen in the Marinara Trench...
