Surrounded by a tribe of loved ones last night, I was honored to be inducted into @NPSD Hall of Fame aka the Knights of Honor ceremony. @NPSD is one of PA’s largest public school districts and educates ~13k students annually. I hope my story inspires students to change the world!

I’m happy to announce the 6 month results from the SECOND @UNOSNews policy surrounding the elimination of Black race to diagnose and manage kidney disease. This policy required all US transplant centers review their waitlists and modify time for qualifying Black individuals.

I’m beyond excited to announce my new role ⁦@emoryhealthcare⁩ as the inaugural Chief Transformation Officer. I’m grateful for my time ⁦@FMC_AG⁩ and look forward to continuing to enhance patient experience and center health equity! ...

Had a jammed pack day meeting with Congressional leaders to support the Living Donor Protection Act. This Act will protect kidney donors from discrimination by insurance companies because they donate! Thank you to all of the PA Representatives and Senators for their support!🙌🏾

How to be a dope journal editor-in-chief: 1. Attend lectures/webinars/panels about topics on race and racism in health care 2. Invite forward-thinking experts to write REAL review pieces on the effects of racism on health 3. Publish dope journal cover art H/t @suz_allison
