Projects like providing IP transit over Starlink were such an exciting part of my time at SpaceX. Beyond being fun technical challenges, they benefit an exponential number of people as other ISPs and underserved communities build infrastructure atop of Starlink.

Pacific Dataport (AS399946) became the latest transit customer of Starlink (AS14593) by activating Nome Gateway (another Community Gateway). 66.207.62.0/24 began being transited by Starlink at 00:07 UTC on December 10, 2025. bgp.tools/prefix/66.20... www.pacificdataport.com/nome-gateway
