The layout for most TTRPG books assumes that you are opening a physical book and looking at two pages simultaneously. However, most TTRPG PDFs break the layout because the cover isn't automatically separated. You can fix this by clicking the option to separate the cover page. 🧵

People look for reasons to justify their feelings, and none of us are immune. 😂 I think there's something similar when an issue is near and dear to your heart. The urge to figure out any reason to like a politician with one appealing point on their platform, but is otherwise toxic. 😬

when you realize voters care far less about policy than they do authenticity (and magnetism), the erratic and seemingly paradoxical politics of the U.S. make a lot more sense.

The cover image for a TTRPG book (or video game) is what gets me to click on it when I see it on a store shelf. I'm the person who buys an Itch bundle with 500 titles and looks through them all. Have something, anything, even if it's just a captivating stock photo and a memorable title.

I love when RPGs give a bunch of things brand names. It isn't just a "pulse rifle", it is the F20 "Arbiter". Demo charge? Nortinghouse M-450 TACFORZ Charge. Don't get me started on the Sato GS Grail VI!

New idea: work in a bookstore and spread rumours about a book that gender swaps you if you so much as open it Wait in the stacks for the egg to open it and then grab them and inject them (with the appropriate hormone ofc)

#TTRPGs I see all sorts of oddities. Multiple similarly-named files that make it unclear which one is the latest. Empty update notifications. Spliced-out cover pages. File names ("spreads" or "singles", but not both) that indicate something is missing. Five older versions of the file staying up.

TTRPG peeps, I'm begging you. If you release TTRPGs digitally, make sure your document file names contain the game's title (at minimum). It makes it really hard to keep track of the games I have and find the ones I'm looking for when the documents are called stuff like GAME DRAFT.pdf

I wish TTRPGs used Banner Saga's method of handling combat turns. If one side has less turns than the other, their remaining units just rotate back through the empty slots, making them individually deadlier. It solves the problem of battles losing tempo as one side gets whittled away.
