Update: I emailed the loan company asking why my payment was sent 100% to interest. I rec'd a generic response that was not relevant at all. I replied, answered their dumb questions that were in my original query, told them to fix the payment and to credit my account for the extra int accrued. ffs.

Paid an extra $1000 to my student loan. (Goal: payoff by April 2027 and then we will party). The whole thing went to interest, infuriating. Now I know to select the "do not advance my due date by more than one month" option so extra payments applied to principle. I wish I'd looked into that earlier!

It was ok! I have some opinions about casting and omg it is a loooong movie, but if you're excited to see it, remain excited. :D I've seen "pure cinema" and "transcendent" in reviews and I would not use those words but it did the job. And then I bought a watermelon and am VERY excited about that.

Starting today, Quiche Browser disables AI overviews in search results by default, out of the box. Compare how much space and time they waste. I love the web too much to let that nonsense bury links to real websites made by humans. Why no other browser does that is beyond me.

Both FFXV and Red Dead Redemption (the first one!) broke my heart in tiny little pieces. FFXV does it EVERY FUCKING TIME. I've beat the game like 10 times now (I love it so much) and I sobbed every single time.

It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.
