CMD (Creative Micro Designs) made a 3-button programmable mouse with a built in Real-time clock (hello, GEOS) in the 90s for C64/C128 computers? Yes, yes they did. The CMD SmartMouse. And it’s great. Fully 1351 AND 1350 compatible. But that 3rd button + RTC are the really the remarkable features.

This is one-part terrifying and one-part exciting. I was fortunate to buy a PPC Cyberstorm for my A3000. I already have an 060 Cyberstorm, but not the PPC version. Curiosity killed the cat, I guess. That means I need to some minor surgery. But first, a loving glance and speed test.
