Illustration commission/gift for an amazing friend of mine :D Really proud of the rendering and sense of depth in this one, very grateful to her for letting me go crazy with this composition

A purple rat character walks into the shallow coastal waters on a bright summer day, holding a small straw bag and smiling back down to the viewer. Her long spiraling hair is tied into a ponytail, and she sports a blue two-piece outfit with a flowy summer coat of a lighter blue, as well as a tan straw hat which shades her face from the shining sun up above. Forgot to post this on Halloween
