finally watched Among Us this weekend - and yeah this is the best possible outcome for "Among Us Show" !! deeply funny, great cast, and a mystery at its core that you can take as seriously as you'd like - episode 5 especially is a lock for one of my favorite cartoon episodes this year
also sorry for not posting as much this month really anywhere - mostly been playing Persona 3 and questioning if any modicum of youtube success i have ever experienced was a fluke and if i was ever able to write in any meaningful way unrelated experiences (and vastly different levels of enjoyable!)

so this show is stunning and well-written and has this really fun score and sense of place - but the way that Mizu's sword slices through flesh is so fucking satisfying that it's just about the only thing I ever think about (in this show or really just in general)

just recorded for the first time in ~4 weeks or so and i think i'm quitting youtube and starting a blog
i enjoyed the MAWS (season?) finale !! not quite mind-blowing, but hits the themes of the season quite nicely while still being actively fun to watch. i actually do think it works shockingly well as a series finale, (i like where they left both relationships) - but still hoping for a S4 !!
somehow just discovered they finally released the last bit of the Teen Titans OST earlier this year - and man i just absolutely adore so many of these tracks !! the harsh piano in the show’s final scene especially heavily influenced the choices I make when scoring my videos -

Ample@amplesamuel.bsky.social · 2mo agothere is some messiness that’s hard to appreciate about all the time travel stuff, and the Jimmy/Kara back and forth is more annoying than anything else - but the way the show balances being immensely silly while also tackling these kind of intense themes is just so enjoyable.

waited to watch Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender until it was legally released because i'm a good little boy who loves + respects Paramount - and mostly out of ambivalence. it's a visually stunning film with several fun moments... that ultimately refuses to do anything that isn't incredibly safe.

been rewatching the first two seasons of MAWS so i could finally catch up for S3 - and yeah this show still kicks so much ass
