Hi! Been a minute, was doing a lot of different things. One of those things was making some assets for @theneolanders.com MMC project, unfortunately for various reasons that project was cancelled, but I still made some stuff for it! Here's a short thread showing some of that stuff off. 1/6
Working on a lot of assets for @theneolanders.com #MMC25 project, gonna hold off on posting anything now, but gonna have a lot of stuff to show off later in the month.
Wish my brain would work correctly so that I could make more things and actually finish things and get better at making things so that I could make finished things that are actually good.
Today was @theneolanders.com Resonite Secret Santa! I made @holoheckate.bsky.social a shapeshifting animal familiar and @me.scrapsavage.dev made me a playable Animal Crossing inspired game.
New avatar model I have been working on, wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try some more complicated details, this is the first avatar that uses baked normals from a sculpt.
I need a better banner for this account, drawing blanks on render ideas though.
How tf do people make coherent modelling time-lapses. I consider myself to be very proficient and fast when it comes to operating Blender but I still look like a bumbling dumbass actually using it just as a consequence of my creative process.
As a left-handed person it is insane to me that those Valve Deckard Roy controller designs that were left in steamvr files aren't symmetrical. They are not cooking with having a full-ass D-pad on a VR controller.
I have been very inconsistent with it so far, not sure if it makes more sense to post things on this account and repost to the art-only, or the other way around...

I found a render I made a few months ago inspired by The Amazing Digital Circus and @soda.theneolanders.com's character. I originally had some ideas for some others based on my other friends, but just couldn't land on any designs I was happy with.
Man there's a lot of things I need to do and things I said I would do and things that I should get around to at some point, then the back of my head is like "No but you should make another new thing"
I didn't even mention because I was just happy to get everyone together on a little project but this was for a costume contest and we won! Wooooo!

I love seeing all of the incredible 3D artists on here but it definitely makes me feel like I am banging rocks together like a cave-enby in comparison. I'll get there someday.
