This box has been sitting in my drawer for a while, but it definitely deserves some recognition. The microfluidic devices ("chips") inside it were the first full-glass devices we (me and @kycenk.bsky.social) designed in scope of TAČR SIGMA proof-of-concept project.

What could I do when guys from JLC forgot to tap six M2.5 threads? Yes, the only option was to tap them on my own. To my luck it was just M2.5, not the M1.6 that is also present in the same component. And then of course ultrasonication in IPA.

This is great! Years ago we built our own FAIMS and made available schematics for the RF inductor network and CAD drawings for the electrodes. I wish people did this more often.
