If a team makes a game that gets great reviews and doesn't sell, that's a biz failing but the silver lining is you caught lighting in a bottle -- protect that team! It's worth its weight in gold. If you jettison the team but keep the biz people, I don't know what to tell you

A friend and I (both Asian) were discussing the discomfort of seeing so many Irish flag on flagpoles. These days when I see it I automatically note the area and shrink myself to make sure I don't stand out. I cannot tell if it's a good flag or a bad flag and the majority of the time it's bad.

One other thing: Thinking we shouldn't pay folks as much in indie games since we're not AAA. This happened when I was hiring for voice actors. Players said we shouldn't be hiring professionals because we were indie & should be giving people with 0 experience a chance, as if quality was irrelevant.
