Playing through that “PaperKlay_switch_final_new2” version! And my cat is awfully interested in the chickens! 👀
PaperKlay was incredibly fun! I appreciate all the hard work that was put into making it. Was so charming and good vibes Highly recommend this game #paperklay #indiegame
The reception for PaperKlay has been incredible. Ty to all! I made a reel sampling 11 of the 35-40 songs I worked on. Will announce an OST release soon! #paperklay #gamecomposer #sounddesigner #grantkirkhope #stevenmelin #indiegamedev #cozyplatformer #cozygaming #banjokazooie #retro #retromusic
We at TwoPeaks are trying to make a fun Kart Racer where players can be a bit more creative and expressful. Here's an early blockout of a level I am currently working on.
We’re making some really cool stuff! Can’t wait to explain more how we’re trying some new things! 👀

My action skydiving racing FPS Aerial_Knight’s DropShot drops Feb 17 on PS5, Xbox, and PC. You play as a guy bitten by a radioactive dragon, taking down mercs, dragons, tanks, and cows… all while trying not to mess up your fro. Give it a Wishlist it means a lot 🙂 youtu.be/Hl0ylC9SYuw?...

✏️Happy #PortfolioDay! 🎏 I'm JD, a pixel artist and game developer! I've worked on a handful of games, most notably Shovel Knight DX as a character animator. ⭐I'll be open to new Game Dev opportunities in the following months, send me an e-mail if you're interested. 🧠 jdzombi.commissions@gmail.com
Learning (or understanding) procedural animations was the goal for this holiday break. I'd say I've got a better grasp, there is some duct tape going on and I'm sure it can be better structured. But I'm happy where it's at right now. I guess next up is making the enemies more interesting.
Everything seems to work, starts to feel nice... DO NOT WALK TO THE RIGHT, STOOOOPPP!!!
I'm tempted to never put the game on sale again. Brings in a flood of negative reviews, one thing that everyone seems to think. The game is too easy... I'm very tempted to go over the entire game and make it more of a challenge.
My ego will be too much once I figure this shit out!
Trying to learn how to do procedural animations, it's so hard to get right lol
Watched "The Making of Guild Wars" this weekend. What a great watch! As a long fan of the series who these days plays it more than ever, it was amazing! www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpm2... Good job @nickjcal.bsky.social and @secondwindgroup.com

The dumb joke is the blind pirate captain shouting "FULL SPEED AHEAD" when he's going backwards made me laugh way more than I should've when writing it.
How my game works: 🔸Explore the hub 🔸Help it's inhabitants 🔸Get rewarded with orbs 🔸Use orbs to enter linear levels Help this blind ghost pirate by releasing his ship so he can sail once more!

25% off on STEAM! With the winter sale that's going on now, I pushed a new update that fixes "the last" issues with the camera. Get it now and have an amazing holiday break!
🔴 There might be a new scam going around for indie devs 🔴 Normal Scam: Use almost identical email with correct links (using a capital i when it should be a lowercase L in the email) Now they might faked entire channels and bought followers (but google shows NO content at all)
The pink circle is where the "check for wall collision" starts and goes towards the camera. Moving that point up and down based on tilted collision above you greatly improved it ☺️
I haven't played games like this since I was a teenager, after PaperKlay I got more into just playing for fun. This year I've finished - Ratchet & Clank: Rifts Apart - Undertale - Planet of Lana - Cult of the Lamb - Guild Wars 2 Expansions - Astroneer Currently playing Eastward and Dishonored 2
Humbled to be mentioned here honestly! Glad to hear that people saw the YT video I released a few months ago where I said that I'll be "having fun with no pressure going forward." screenrant.com/best-solo-de...

I think I'm romanticizing releasing games on phones. I get these short phases where I design some small game and then go "yeah that would've been fun to make". Like I know I enjoy making games more than releasing and selling them but for some reason I can't ever go for it.
I have fixed a bug that has been in the game for 4 years. If the camera looks down, you run slightly slower... Doing the last playthrough of the Switch version this weekend! 😄
I think PaperKlay is worth thinking about when you're deciding which game should get a vote for "Outstanding Visual Style" There is a link below :) store.steampowered.com/app/1350720/...
Got my first negative review in a good while for PaperKlay. Also grateful that it still sells even outside of discounts! 🙏 If you've enjoyed PaperKlay but haven't left a review, please do! It helps! 😊
After the release of PaperKlay, I've played A LOT more games. I'm genuinely playing games for fun in a way I haven't done in the past 14 years. Not for research purposes, I've even gone back to old games I said I would finish. In a sense it's scary since I'm not working on games as much.
