Toi Aro d/Deaf and/or Disabled Artist Development Residency! I held the Toi Pōneke version of this residency earlier this year and it was an amazing opportunity. If you're a Wellington region artist and meet the criteria I'd really encourage you to apply. www.toiaro.nz/residencies

Geoguessr put me right at the St Bathan's research site and I was so excited when I realised where I was. WHERE IS THE MAMMAL? THE ONE-FEMUR MAMMAL. HOPPING. HOPPING.

Just seen a claim that everything [infrastructure wise] caters to people who can't bike [at the expense of cyclists] and I swear to fucking god having limited transport options due to disability is not some privilege of laziness, it's really frustrating and restricting.

Just realised I should have asked the compounding pharmacy for a custom colour for my tablets. I wonder if they do that. All my meds are white or orange at the moment and it's getting confusing.

Finally got over myself* and used the Relay app, and wow the pharmacy I was calling did not understand the concept, but it definitely helped. *Me: waaaah is this cultural appropriation because I'm not actually d/Deaf Deaf friends: omg Andi STFU and just use the app

TIL that redshirting children is a sports-derived term that means means holding them back a year in education, not sending them to an alien planet to die as cannon fodder, and uh I probably owe some people an apology for judging their parenting now...
