The Nightmare Before Christmas is not a Halloween film. The ratio of Christmas to Halloween is far too off, it is a transitory November film to be viewed in between the two holidays. I’m tired of it being shoved into my October antics

Because porn is a critical part of queer history. It was some of the only queer-owned media and a radical and positive documentation of sexuality at a time when it was being violently suppressed elsewhere.

β€œWe also have a lot of porn,” Conn jokes. β€œTons of porn,” Powell chimes in.

I spent an afternoon with Loyd Powell and Robert Conn, who run the Heart of Leather Foundation in Houston. Their dream is to open a museum of LGBTQ history. Until then, they have over 35,000 artifacts sitting in storage, and they let me see them: www.chron.com/culture/arti...

Don't let billionaires convince you slop is the future. They're used to managing & directing, not making things themselves. Of course they can't see the difference. They don't understand your love for the craft. Keep making personal, beautiful games. You've got my support πŸ’–

Can't believe we're finally about to wrap production on the Far-Fetched pilot. Just needs a few finishing touches, then it will be done! I'm so proud of our show, and can't wait for you all to see it soon!

this also applies wholesale to the indie game industry btw

a cool thing about indie animation is that it's expected to save the entire industry, every show has to look better than the things the fans grew up on or it's a waste of time, there's no union to be found anywhere, no budget for any of it, and asking the audience to pay anything to watch is illegal
