Important new study out at Nature Climate Action showing that individual climate actions do not stop people from participating in collective climate action. Instead, they were associated with greater collective engagement and somewhat stronger policy support. www.nature.com/articles/s44...

Last month I designed and delivered two workshops at @tudublin.bsky.social's Grangegorman campus for the Junior UniLabs STEM Camp. It was a brilliant week working with students. Seeing their curiosity and enthusiasm for STEM is the best part of the job!
Just back from The Digital Conference held at @kingscollegelondon.bsky.social! I presented the work I've been developing with Ana Jovanovic-Harrington and Maíra Amaral on how specific indie video games have been created as digital extensions of political expression, with Serbia as a case study.

I was recently in Kerry for the Age-Friendly AI's first Citizens' Think-In event! It was incredibly enriching to discuss everyday AI topics with participants. Looking forward to the next events!
I recently took a nighttime trip and had to wait for a connecting train for an hour. It wasn't too bad, though. It was dark and quiet; there was peace in that stillness. I wrote a cinquain, a poetic form created by Adelaide Crapsey, about it. almoghost-exe.itch.io/train-to-tra...

Games can educate, challenge, and open conversations — even around topics we often avoid. I spoke with @square2mom.bsky.social about her award-winning game (val)iant, sex ed, emotional pacing, and care through play. 📰 Read the interview: open.substack.com/pub/andrealm... #GameDev #SexEd
