Because speaking (typing) it into the ether is the only thing that makes me feel like I actually exist, there's been some movement on a couple of projects that have me vibrating with excitement. Granted, very possible none of these come to be, but creatively I am in heaven right now.

One of my all time favorite song placements is how Oingo Boingo ends Dark at the End of the Tunnel with "Try to Believe", one of the most beautifully optimistic songs ever, and then Boingo, the next album, opens with "Insanity," an 8 minute song about how much everything fucking sucks lol

Watching Ranma ½ from when I was 7 years old made me grow up into a man who is comfortable with gender fluidity. Azumanga Daioh showed me teenage queerness had a lot in common with being a cis/straight teenage boy. Unico taught me that even your enemies are human. Anime made me an empathetic human.
