I published this review yesterday, and it caused a bit of a stir on Twitter. I stand by what I said. A writer lives and dies by their words and I have to call it as I see it. It was suggested that I should have been kinder, but just because you worked hard does not mean you get a free pass.

Big Walk took me by surprise not only thanks to its ingenious teamwork puzzles but also because of its focus on nature. It reminded me about how being in the woods helped me overcome my anxiety. The deep connections I made along the way were an unexpected bonus. Here is my latest opinion piece.

Finished the Side Order DLC of Splatoon 3. Wanted to get it out of the way before focusing on Raiders. The Splatoon gameplay is so entertaining that it fits in a roguelite package perfectly. The last boss' cutscene was more elaborate than expected. This is the series that keeps on giving.

Here it is, Pixel Byte's Big Walk Review. This the first time I have given two perfect scores in a year which is pretty cool, and I think this my fourth overall for the site, we really don't give them out that often. I loved this game is really the crux of it all.

One thing about Desktop Explorer's puzzles is that you never know what to expect next. Across each chapter, a new gameplay feature is introduced, and even when playing by the fakeOS system's rules, you need to bend and break them now and then. Any true puzzle fan should play it ASAP.
