The Eagles just lost to the Cowboys and the defense was basically powerless. Quinyon Mitchell and Zack Baun have been good, but after them there's been a lot of bad and a lot of ugly. Here's what is going on with Vic Fangio and the boys
Philly Front Office@phillyfrontoffice.com · 3d agoEagles Postgame: What is this Eagles Defense? phillyfrontoffice.com/2026/10/26/e...
Hard to win games when you have so many guys out on offense and the defensive pass rush can’t provide any pressure. Eagles have lost 5 in a row.
Eagles deliver the 8th-worst performance by any defense in a game this season (EPA/Drive). 4 TDs and 3 FGs on 9 possessions. Zero turnovers. Zero sacks. Zero QB hits. And they were only missing 2 starters: Nolan Smith and Michael Carter.
Jeffery Lurie inducting himself into his team’s Hall of Fame and then the Eagles losing by 17 to the Cowboys is the perfect topping to the 2026 shit sundae. Time to clean house, big fella.
I'm not giving up on the Eagles yet. Offense actually looked competent most game, the defense just sucked. I'm still depressed about another loss. I hope they can do better next week. But alas no more football for me until then.
Skipping SNF. I'll be back when this team gets their shit together. #FlyEaglesFly
Yeah, I'm pissed at the Eagles, but Jerry Jones, a guy who hasn't won shit since I was in grade school, taking a selfie with the coke fiend; loser.
After that Eagles 4-and-out Landon Dickerson punched himself in the head repeatedly, and knocked his helmet off of his head.
Isn't it funny, out of all the bonehead shit Sirianni has done, is responsible for, he's going to lose his job probably for things that are, in a good part, out of his hands.
The fact that the run defense let Williams over 150 yards and a score is fucking disgusting. #FlyEaglesFly
4th and 9 on your own 20 is like pulling your goalie in hockey.
I fucking hate the Cowboys but damn this defense was dogshit. #FlyEaglesFly
What if Nakobe Dean was actually the defensive coordinator all this time and now that he's gone that's why we're struggling so much. Even outside of the offensive issues.
I know Covey is out but why is Lemon was out there on the punt team? #FlyEaglesFly
I love this team but there’s just so much wrong that I just can’t do this😭
And just when the defense gets worse. Now Ojomo is down. Just simulate the entire season. #FlyEaglesFly
Tanner McKee giveth and Tanner McKee taketh away. That's why Jalen doesn't like to throw balls when his receivers are covered like that.
Hurt Eagles RBs: - Saquon Barkley - Tank Bigsby - Will Shipley - Dameon Pierce - Carson Steele
Among the last 15 Eagles defenses, this 2026 group ranks 11th in Success% 13th in EPA/drive 15th in Rush Success% 15th in Sacks/G Not just disappointing. Bad.
Vic is going to give the defense hell in the locker room after the game. That was unacceptable. #FlyEaglesFly
With the way the defense is playing, the Eagles couldn't afford a non-scoring drive on their last offensive possession. Not a team that will be known for playing complementary football.
