This is from a lesbian who lives locally who said people are very rarely attacked for their sexuality but by being a dick...so I gave my example from a few weeks ago and this was her response.
Im beyond livid at a statement put out by a local cllr regarding Pride flag flying here, he had several people who said they were LGBTQ and the flag no longer represented them but political ideology so he voted against flying it. So absolutely nothing about the people who asked for it to be flown.
