Sheetrock going up today, my room and the closet already done, was working on the bathroom when we stopped to pick up a package.
couple days of delays, fixed it so hopefully starting back on things tomorrow with the house
Feeling good about things with the house now, met with the HVAC guys. going to be a very nice system
Finally, this Monday starts the next round of working on the house. Did get some electrical stuff done but did have a few days paused but don't think we have lost anytime on it. Still looking to be home by the middle of August.

Used to always ask Mom, now what time was born. Wished she was still here to celebrate with me and so many other reasons:
celebrating my birthday today, turned 46, first birthday without my mom being with me (passed away from cancer November 15th, 2025)
Things are moving at a good pace, started on and working on the plumbing, water heater will be downstairs, framing and electrical will start, should be done with that by Tuesday, insulation and the walls being put up. Very excited in the progress basically be moving into a new home.
House is progressing well, and Harold got the news that got approved for something that we'll. able to get everything done including a new fence and a gate, among other things.
Happy Ozzy Day! Last year lot of folks from my childhood and growing up seem to leaving us last year. On top of that I ultimately lost my mom to cancer on November 15. So this song has a lot of meaning also Ozzy's "Mama I'm Coming Home" youtu.be/DMOiMguvZ-o?...

Sugar went low this morning, felt yucky. Contacted my endocrinologist about it. Also went to regular appointment, went well, nurse practitioner going to check some things, got a prescription for shingles shots, everything went well go back in October
Went over to the house this evening and they were there bringing in the lumber for supports and floor base. Talked with the guy about things wanted done. He told us to five him about 3 weeks and then we would be able to live in and go back home. Excited and happy.
Anyone getting in it now will get a whole thing of motor oil and detergent all on them
Caught some assholes going thru the dumpster when went to the house. Felt good letting them have it verbally. Decided to go get something that the Romans would do when they didn't want anyone to have anything "poison the well".
got to be a pretty low person to steal Memorial Wind chimes (one for my mom and one for my aunt) off the front porch.
start on house rebuild and finish outside on Monday. also having medicine adjustment for diabetes and think have pinpointed a source for the insulin resistance will talk to my nurse practitioner about it at check up on Tuesday.
