don't cheap out on fitness and nutrition as you get older. in the american healthcare system, the time and money you invest now will pay you back many times over. a gym membership costs less per month than most prescription copays.

the distribution of what's worth knowing is shifting memorizing low level code syntax matters less when autocomplete handles it or it's generated understanding data structures, system design, security fundamentals, debugging instincts, reading code you didn't write is getting more valuable
