Get a pool they said, it’ll be fun they said (ok maybe “they” was me) … We had some great years with this pool but the last couple have just been non stop diagnosing leaks and replacing expensive parts Gang .. I am tired 🥱 Draining pool to replace cracked return line today …
Drivers have lost the f’n plot in this city. Had a transport truck pull out in front of me at York Steel when I was maybe 5-10m away. Had to slam on my brakes to avoid a crash. Was doing about 35km/h (bike) so it’s not like I was going slow 🤬
Little family trip over to NS to enjoy some cottage time on the lake. Nobody had more fun than Lily & Gryff. Even visited Burnside Brewing’s Antigonish location for a Toller beer

Feel like drivers downtown are insane .. one 10 min trip this morning - guy tries to turn wrong way down 1-way St, almost hits me - 4-way stop, 1st guy goes .. guy behind him decides to also go, almost t-bones car with right of way - cabbie swerves into my lane to go around righ-turnvdriver
Last day of work and then I’m on vacay for 17 whole glorious days. Can’t wait to sleep in to .. 7am 😂

Hey @susanholtnb.bsky.social I’m not sure what crew was patching the 655 this morning around 9am, but they’re gravel truck almost took me out. Zero traffic coming the other direction so it wasn’t a matter of room, not that it excuses it. If you can kindly ask them follow the rules that’d be great

I seriously do hate this Lincoln Rd detour thru Southwood/Forest Hill and the worst part is that we'll continue to do it every summer, all summer long, until 2030 .
I really need to take some food photography classes 😂 these are the best 2 I got of the finished product After smoking them to about 170F I finished them in a foil tray with some beef broth, chipotle/adobo and spices Should have split into 2 trays but still turned out fine 🤷♂️
