I goat asked the other day: "Why make the old school BBS/IRC etc, wouldn't it be better making newer social media?" My answer was: "Without a working version of the older systems, how can people make newer ones?" Plus the old stuff was and still can be way cooler than the new.
So, I've been a busy little keyboard jockey as of late. BBS, IRC & citadel server all set up, domains and all. Just need to finish my PBX before I release the details. Who knows, may put it on my webpage as a puzzle for the Tech geeks to unravel.

This cluster is now running my pds docker (which gives me the custom blue sky domain) along with my IRC server, and within the next few weeks maybe a BBS server, web server and VPN server. Just need a few more raspberries to finish other projects.

As peeps can see, I'm a bit of an electronics and amateur radio nerd, I do have an account on bluesky for my amateur radio stuff.
4 more spam bots followed me, all reported now I'm naming and shaming!! Maybe these little bot accounts need a bit of a good shaming, especially as I'm a bit of a cyber security nut with a few skills up my sleeves.
@moderation.bsky.app check out these 4 bot accounts that just followed me within 30 seconds of each other. All bot accounts use the same "getallmylinks.com" affiliate link. Might be worth adding the getallmylinks.com site blacklisted, as I get far too many following with the same bio.
