As promised, here's the map of the "riding all local/frequent/connector service Wego buses in one day to at least one stop unique to that route" challenge I did yesterday just for fun! I also made a full writeup if you want more photo verification or just to hear the story: andw.me/posts/26-07-...
Today's WeGo Speedrun is to ride every non-RTA (so no Star and express) routes to at least one unique stop, which includes 27 total frequent/local/connector service routes.
Nashville WeGo's gonna add 6 new frequent service routes sometime in the future, which is going to make speedruns...interesting (way longer than the current 8 hours, I'd guess 12 at the minimum). It should be celebrated since it means better transit here though!
Today I did a "transit speedrun" of the WeGo frequent service network! Why? Why not! I had to fully cover all 8 routes from start to end or vice versa, and make some tight connections! I documented everything here on Bluesky across all eight hours, but here's the condensed collage:
"Speedrunning" all of the Nashville WeGo frequent service routes today in their entirety. Got my bag packed and ready to leave the house!
i just made an account here, followed some cool people, and now have no idea what to do
