Been doing some thinking and I think I'm gonna shelve the Elden Ring playthrough. I'm enjoying the game, but interest in the whole decrees thing dropped off a cliff after the first few sessions, and it's pretty clear that I overestimated people wanting to keep doing it for a 60+ hour game.

Today's stats for BBS mutes. Got 6 minutes cut from Neverland, the first 2 minutes of Keyblade Graveyard, and 2 minutes from Runble Racing for some reason. Weirdly enough Disney Town, the place that has the Michael Rodent March playing nonstop, was left completely untouched?? Idk man

The VOD playback bar from my last stream of Birth by Sleep. Only 3 segments got muted this time!

Congratulations to Birth By Sleep for having the most VOD mutes per capita of any KH game I've streamed! They are apparently very protective about the Command Board theme for some reason

Funny prank that Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days plays on you: You remember how I grumped about finishers being the only way to stagger weak enemies? That ability actually does exist in Days, but for Roxas it's exclusive to the Pandora Gear which is only available at the very end of the game.

I finished the Leechgrave mission in KH Days and it's really impressive how badly that boss sucks equally for both melee and magic builds. For the uninitiated, Leechgrave is a big coffin flanked by 4 tentacles. If you're close, a big hand will come out of the coffin and hit you for a ton of damage.

I forgor to post it but I finished off Re: Chain of Memories last night. Turning KH into a deckbuilder is a neat concept and I like the increased freedom that the 3D movement gives you, but the ruleset is a little too simple for its own good, and with just a bit of knowledge you can destroy the game

PSA: If your Steam client is suddenly running like dogshit for no discernable reason, there's a good chance it's Warframe's fault. If you see a news post for Warframe called "Operation Epoch: Taubound", click the little arrows in the top right of the thumbnail and select "Remove This Update".

I didn't realize it when I was younger, but Chain of Memories is a card game where you're allowed to set up whatever stupid combos you want with 100% consistency, since cards always appear in the same order. Incidentally I'm clearing the game MUCH faster this time around.

Rolled credits on KH1 Proud! While it was mostly fun there are some bosses like Cave of Wonders, big Ursula, and the the first phase of World of Chaos that just do not play nicely with the increased lethality. I did have a good time enjoying how busted magic is when you build into it, though.

Finished Agrabah in my Kingdom Hearts 1 Proud run; it's funny that the Jafar fights are absolutely free compared to the Cave of Wonders tiger head. You have to deal with the awkward platforming to hit the eyes, the homing lasers, and scimitar heartless yeeting themselves at you from 50 feet away.

Been playing Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix since I picked up the collection recently and never tried any of the FM versions of the games. I picked the rod at the start and still hadn't learned Guard after the first 4 worlds, so I looked up when you learn it, and it shows up at LEVEL 33 in Final Mix

Granblue summer alts are usually hornier than normal but between summer Payila's uncap art and charge animation it feels like a *little* much. She was already one of the best water units in the game! You didn't have to buff her that way!

I watched a video of a dude doing some FPV flying last week and I got really tempted to try it, but apparently it's a $300-400 investment for the entry-level drone and goggles+controller, plus breaking stuff is super common so you need to know how to solder and that's even more money to spend aaaa

If I had a nickel for every time the Calamity Mod project lead was outed as a massive fuckhead I'd have two nickels etc etc Super bummed to hear the mod won't continue development but I totally understand why the remaining contributors would be completely burned out at this point.
