Top 5 all-time QB? 4X MVP? Nope. Thanks to @davidjroth.bsky.social he is now, and will forever be, the diarrhea retreat guy.
Really excited to be in Stockholm piloting a potential experiential learning opportunity related to youth sports. Today was photo day which they didn't do when I worked at FIBA, but is really a lot of fun.
Heading to the land of not being left penniless just because you got sick.
1-9 is, in my opinion, the greatest New Jersey road. Elite levels of auto body shop to shady hotel ratio.
I wish Bari Weiss would hire guys instead of reporters so I could see them flash up on screen and say their names. “I’m Rance Mulliniks. I’m Ricky Bottalico. I’m Blue Edwards. I’m Alberto Berasategui. Those stories, plus Dan Pasqua on 60 Minutes.”
It rules that after two years of Trump fully going for it. Indulging in all the worst and most violent right wing fantasies, and failing on pretty much every single front, the outcome is a "modest" advantage for Dems. I really think the 2-party system is under discussed as the root problem.

It’s July 25th and I’m already completely wound up about this cursed club. Not even August yet and all of our strikers are crocked. #QPR.

What I love most about soccer is the places and people it makes me think about. Having enjoyed Curaçao and Cape Verde's debut appearances, I sat down with my 9-yo to discuss newbies we'd like to see in 3030. Got to say Djibouti and talk about my (now retired) Principality of Liechtenstein wallet.
The World Cup Would Be More Fun if it had Lemurs and Arnaud Randrianantenaina.
My nine-year-old son and I thought the coolest thing about the World Cup were the debutants so we picked four new countries we would like to see at the 3030 edition.

I've never bought into his argument about the meaning of the regular season. Since before the playoff (and still to a degree) there's been an entire underclass in CF for whom every regular season game is meaningless. UCF 2017? TCU 2010? Utah 2008? Were their regular season games meaningful?

I wrote about being at the FIFA World Cup final and the entire sordid scene. I spoke to a few people who bought five-figure tickets. I tried to make sense of the senseless. @defector.com (This is a gift link, but you should subscribe to Defector, the rare outlet that would commission this.)

Most right thinking people like Venzia’s kit, but truly the best part is the sad waif models they use. So on brand.

It's been a long haul but yesterday I was able to remember my wife's phone number. We've been together for going on 12 years.
Guys, I can't commit my wife's phone number to memory. Just can't do it. We're married. She's my wife. I can't reliably remember her phone number.

I've only ever walked out of two movies, the Sean Astin vehicle Toy Soldiers and (this will be incredibly unpopular) Mad Max: Fury Road.
I was really spoiled for options here, but I stand by my choice.
I often fantasize about retiring and working at our local community-owned grocery store as the cheese monger so this is bad news for me. What else can I monger?
Everybody Loves Cheese. Why Is Selling It So Hard These Days?
Cheesemongering is a calling, requiring deep expertise and longstanding relationships, but today’s retail environment is making it more and more difficult.
