I've already said too much.

The curious case of 𝘊𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘥 & 𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘦 85. Faced with buying another reissue of the CD, I opted for the Japanese pressing with a bonus "Perfect Way" mix. Except on arrival, I realized the bonus mix was not on the disc but via download. Hey, at least I got an obi and a postcard of Green. #CDFriday

I don't recall culling my Arctic Monkeys CD singles but there were only two remaining (along with 3 of The Last Shadow Puppets). All the CD albums were still there. Anyhoo! I'm probably just getting senile. Here they are with a couple of Erasure singles that I missed last week. #WeekendSingles

I was big on Arctic Monkeys for a while and was snapping up all of their EPs as they were released. However, I could only find "Teddy Picker" and "My Propeller" for my entry this week. Random. Hopefully someone out there is enjoying them.

The languid pace of much of Mazzy Star's output seems well-suited to the elevated temperatures many are dealing with this summer. I only have their first 3 CDs (I'm happy to hear recommendations on their 4th) so included 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥 & 𝘋𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥, which Hope sang on. #CDFriday

The first three Mazzy Star CDs joined by The Jesus and Mary Chain's 1994 album 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥 & 𝘋𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥. Hope Sandoval contributed vocals to single "Sometimes Always". I saw the two groups perform together at Stanford University that year, so forever link them.

I haven't raved about 𝘐𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 by #BrigitteCallsMeBaby lately. But it struck me upon hearing this song (a mere "album track") today that it appears to have emerged from a netherworld somewhere in-between 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘥 by #TheSmiths and 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 by #TheCars. youtu.be/qhC_3PUEsHA?...
