Wear a backpack. Put something heavy in it. That way you only feel like a dork.
In my halfass pursuit of fitness, I've been pondering getting one of those weighted vests. I walk my dogs 3-5 miles a day regardless, I might as well get a little more cardio/strength benefit out of it, right? Problem: I don't want to look like a giant fucking dork. Is there a solution to this?
He sounds pretty deranged. Is that what they mean by trump derangement syndrome?
whatever magic Trump once had as a public speaker to non-cult audiences is long gone
Damn right! @citizenslobbyca.bsky.social
Carbon pricing not only lowered emissions it gave more money back to the majority of people, especially to the poorest Canadians. Shame on all the cynical politicians who repeated lies about it. www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/pe...
I was getting ready to mow the lawn when I noticed a Monarch butterfly sipping nectar from a Rose of Sharon bush. I ran back in to grab my camera and took a few a shots before the butterfly left to visit other flowers. Such a treat to see these beauties.
They tell me I’m uncultured, but I’ll always recognise a bit of Beethoven.

We cannot expect poor nations such as Jamaica to give up potential oil wealth unless we compensate their people for lost opportunities. IMHO, global carbon fee-and-dividend would help do that #GlobalCarbonFeeAndDividendPetition www.theguardian.com/global-devel...

With early tests suggesting the presence of crude oil, the Caribbean island has begun to debate whether it could justify becoming a producer

If we made the green energy transition this war would be unthinkable and these authoritarians wouldn’t be in power — not in the US, not in Iran, not in Saudi Arabia, not in Russia. Hydrocarbons are killing our freedom and just plain killing us.
That’s the best kind of mistake to learn nothing from.
Just fascinating to see Blair, a man whose reputation was ruined by the Iraq war, advocate joining a war that is exponentially stupider and more chaotic. How is it possible to learn nothing from the worst mistake of your life?

This might be the most fatuous thing I’ve ever heard anyone say.
Here's a Fox News segment where contributor Marc Thiessen explains that we don't need to regulate greenhouse gases because "AI will help us find lots of ways to adapt to a warming climate so we can live with it."
Don Lemon is being charged with conspiring to violate someone’s constitutional rights. That’s rich. #ICE
