Why do Ai people think we need to summarize emails so badly? Imagine if you got all your instructions from your boss through a telephone game. Either; that's the best possible use case they could come up with, or Ai bros are so mediocre they can't even be bothered to read an email.

I feel like the "university graduation crowd boos at speakers touting Ai" clip is so cathartic because Ai boosters have been confidently telling us 'only a small vocal minority of people hate Ai' meanwhile everyone in that crowd is unanimous
Nobody is afraid that Ai can make better art than people, it can't, people are afraid that their hard work will be drowned out by an infinite endless list of effortless slop that looks the same but has zero substance, generated by people who hate the artists they're basing off of

kind of crazy how Ai data centers are allowed to steal your electricity in order to steal your data so that they can steal your career too. All while providing like 10 jobs. I hope the bubble bursts and everyone is ruined so they cant keep investing in things that make people's lives worse.

My hottest “I have no data to back this up” take is that phones aren’t making young people less happy. What’s making them less happy is living in a world where everyone is having their reality defined by recommendation algorithms that can only care about whether something keeps you watching.

I think writing your stories with AI so you can "focus on reporting" is both disrespectful to your audience and a guarantee that you don't do good reporting, because you're clearly not a fan of quality information. Negative levels of respect for people that do this.
