#AwesomeCharacters Not really? The only one who might would be Golanier and it'd end up one sided due to the nature of it since it'd effectively be a rivalry with the undead named Dralocran

#AwesomeCharacter Yorun is absolutely going to help them pick it up but he will tell the person to mind where they walk afterall others could fly off the handle at such a small thing so it's best to keep aware of your surroundings.

#AwesomeCharacters Well this is easy for two of them and I'm gonna consider this a "everything is fucked pull out all cards" Yorun is calling to Raeknar and Raeknar will respond as a god does with a shaking world by taking over Yoruns body and eliminating the threat with ease.

Tell me about your #AwesomeCharacters Your character has found themself in serious, possibly life threatening, trouble and they need help urgently. Who is the first person they turn to? #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

#AwesomeCharacters Yorun did not have a formal education, he was a peasant farmer in a village on the outskirts of the Fiernian Empire. He was taught what was needed by the village and his own parents, he COULD have had a proper education due to his magic but he decided to stay.

#AwesomeCharacters Yorun would probably read a rance book. He doesn't need some big action filled story with world changing storylines as he has that in his life. Give him something nice, chill and sappy and he'll love it.

#AwesomeCharacters I admittedly don't do the small domestic parts often but I guess for Yorun now it's literally just being a dad again. He's taking care of Vahlia whenever something's not going on. Hell go out and buy toys for her new clothes etc from allied/ conquered cities

#Septopolis 3 Qulintral is in the southern portion of the primary continent in the worlds most volcanic region with no nearby water or any ocean access. Given that the Quunastrae are fire elementals this region is basically perfect for them.

Khonri 🫜@khonri.com · 2w ago

Good morning #Septopolis. As this "workshop" is intended first to build something from the ground up, we will begin with foundational elements. If the typical "key resources" or even biomes as we know them don't apply: tell us why (like magic or whatever)!

A daily prompt card for #Septopolis 2026, hosted by @khonri.com.

Foundations, 3. Where does this settlement exist geographically (biome, latitude, etc.), and what key natural resources are available there that laid the groundwork for the settlement?

#Septopolis 2 The place I'll be discussing is the capital city of the Quunastrae Fire Elementals named Qulintral. It's a city built around a volcanic region that has many natural fires around it, they have redirected lava around and through the city similarly to how we do with water.

#MythAugust 31 Oh gods. Focus on the gods first, if the gods allow for this multiversal collapse to effect their own created reality and saw these other deities and the mortals of which they reign over they'd be.... intrigued and thats worse.

🫜Prof Emily🫜@professoremily.bsky.social · 2w ago

#MythAugust 31 We've reached the end! So let's have some fun: if there was a multiverse collapse, how would your deities & their followers interact with others you've read about this month? 😁 Would they team up, with disastrous results? Destroy each other? Or would they live in relative harmony?

#MythAugust prompt for Aug 31:
Oh no! The walls between the worlds have collapsed! How do your deities & their followers interact with those of other creators?

#AwesomeCharacters There is time passage to say the least, in Dead Promises I think I've got it so that at this point at least a year has passed since the beginning though I'm thinking 2 at this point. Yorun hasn't noticeably aged apart from maybe some more grey hairs similarly with the others

🌱🫜 Charlie (Chelizabeth) Delta 🦊🪻@charliedeltawrites.bsky.social · 2w ago

#MythAugust 30 Oh the gods are actually quite important to the story beyond just the background work as they actively show up. Raeknar's current chosen IS my mc Yorun and as such regularly talks with him and Yorun has called for their support plus has divine magic as a result.

🫜Prof Emily🫜@professoremily.bsky.social · 2w ago

#MythAugust 30 You've been chatting about your fictional gods & religions all month, but how much do these things play a role in the story you're trying to tell? Is it just cool worldbuilding flavor, or is it essential to the plot & characters? Maybe all of the above?

#MythAugust prompt for Aug 30:
What role does the mythology play in your story? Is it crucial to your plot/characters, or just a cool background detail?

#AwesomeCharacters I'd say that my Protag Yorun is more interesting than my Antag Durinkal. This is mainly due to the fact I've not done TOO much with Durinkal yet and what I have done is just show he's a vain power hungry emperor. Yoruns got more depth and fun powers.

#MythAugust 29 This is always a weird kind of question because I've always noted inspirations AFTER I've gone back to a thing and went "Oh this is like what I did.... I made a thing that inspired like this and didn't realise"

🫜Prof Emily🫜@professoremily.bsky.social · 2w ago

#MythAugust 29 Wrapping up the month! Tell us about your inspirations. Were you influenced by any real world myths or religions when making your fantasy gods? Which ones, and how did they influence you? Feel free to talk about any other inspirations too, of course, not just religions & myths!

#MythAugust prompt for Aug 29:
Did you base your myth on any real world religions/myths?

#MythAugust 28 Well first and foremost I suppose theres the little "by the gods" and "thank the gods" exclamation or if you're more partial to a particular god then it'd be a specific one like "Thank Raeknar" for example.

🫜Prof Emily🫜@professoremily.bsky.social · 2w ago

#MythAugust 28 Today's question is about how the gods/spirits influence the lives of regular people - specifically, in mundane everyday kind of ways. Think of little things like idioms & swear words, clothing & accessories, small superstitious rituals, or locations everyone knows to avoid...

#MythAugust prompt for Aug 28:

#AugustWorldbuilders 28 When mortals were made the gods made mortal souls magical, the soul is the container and generator of a persons magic with the container (soul) either being unlocked or locked at birth. Which CAN be unlocked later via the gods or a group of VERY powerful mages doing it.

Kira of the Wind (Erika McCorkle)@kiraofthewind.com · 2w ago
