Well, they've finally struck home. #ICE has detained my former #umich student, Yousif Azizi, a PhD student in public policy at Virginia Tech w/a valid visa. He was arrested while taking his children to school in Maryland. After multiple transfers, he is in a detention center in Arizona.

Trans rights are human rights, I cannot tell you the appal and anger I felt seeing someone making some stupid “Teehee I want to draw this someone stop me >:3” post. Some people need to develop a moral backbone, it’s not suddenly okay just because it looks appealing to some people

It does sometimes suck to be in/witness fandom spaces when you really enjoy critical engagement and analysis.
I’m trying to work on a piece that’s fairly outside of my comfort zone, at least in terms of the character designs, so in order to motivate myself I’m also working on something closer to my comfort zone that I also need to do. And it’s been working pretty well! I’m making good progress with both now

I’ve been tasked with putting together an inventory, which is an awful thing to do. I’m grateful that I have five paintings in my apartment on my walls, but for some reason I stored this one.
This is the fist time I’ve ever heard of Jacob Geller, but I will say anyone taking the RAPIST’S word for how the rape VICTIM feels or thinks at face value without hearing from the victim is either gullible or is choosing to believe it. Obviously the rapist would want to look good in the situation
