Tuesday, For it's 3rd season, the Black-crowned night heron returned to the Reed-bed in the early morning, Also here 5 juvenile Bearded tits & Bittern, 2 juvenile Mediterranean gull on West Holm, with 4 on East Holm & 7 Avocet chicks, Also a Hobby south over West Holm, with a Redshank on East Holm,
It's back for the 3rd season. The Black-crowned night heron seen on the Reed-bed very early in the morning. It flew south & then doubled back to land somewhere between the Carp & Far lakes, so it may reveal itself later on
