Somehow never occurred to me to wonder if freshwater slugs exist. Freshwater snails? Plenty. But slugs??? Turns out there's one clade, Acochlidiacea, that contains gastropods of unusual morphology, including some species like Acochlidium fijiiensis here who lack a shell - a bona fide slug!
