Last night, 9 participants of the WG2 Field Workshop in Mals hiked to the remote Alte Pforzheimer Hütte 🏔️🌙 They spent the night collecting high-altitude moths for the #COST10KLepGenomes project! 🦋

Today kicks off the beginning of the first field trip organised by WG2 in Malles, Venosta ⛰️ From July 14th-18th, 50 participants will be sampling Lepidoptera in the Italian Alps to contribute to the #COST10KLepGenomes initiative 🦋 Stay tuned for updates!

Over two weeks, 12 early-career researchers learnt how to curate genomes as part of Project Psyche! This workshop was funded through the Lep10K COST Action (CA23122) & organised by Working Group 3 which focuses on the generation & utilisation of Psyche genomes. (1/8) @costprogramme.bsky.social
