The working equines of Samaria Gorge play an important role within this extraordinary National Park, but their health and welfare must always come first. 🐴 Earlier this year, our equine dental tech, Alkis, examined and treated 11 mules 🦷 including two retired animals requiring additional support.

Recently, our CEO Joe visited our long-standing partners Arcadia Animal Care alongside Elisa, our Equine Care Coordinator. With hundreds of rescued animals, they provide a safe haven for those who have suffered neglect and abandonment. We’re proud to support their vital work ❤️

At the weekend, Flora joined a protest on Paros following the devastating wildfires that scorched around 10% of the island. Local animal charities called for an end to tethering and an effective rescue plan to protect animals during disasters. Animals must not be left trapped.
