LIONS LEAVING CAIRO! BenTzur & Ori, the young lions rescued from the illegal wildlife pet trade in Israel, are completing a 2+hour stop in Egypt. There’s been a change of crew & cargo,the lions have stayed put. Jan & Tim gave the lions some snacks, they were hungry & doing well.

Lions BenTzur & Ori have been unloaded at Tel Aviv airport. We hope to be live from inside the aircraft before take-off. We checked them in the cargo area, gave them a little snack & topped up their water. They are in a quiet, temperature-controlled cargo area - so are cool and out of the heat.

The ADI team is at the zoo with BenTzur and Ori. We are keeping it as quiet as possible for them. The lions seem relaxed. We will be loading them in the next hour or so and plan to go live once they are safely in their travel crates.
