Squeak, Wheek, Hop & Splash! Our small animal adoption fees are WAIVED starting today, Thursday, June 25th through Sunday, June 28th. Rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, bearded dragons - check out our adoptable smalls on our website or stop by the shelter. We are open from 11am-6pm for adoptions!

Meet Rockie! Rockie has lived with other dogs and cats before and his previous home said he was house trained as well! Rockie is about 7 years old and loves to spend his days here at the shelter soaking up belly rubs from our volunteers! Interested in meeting him? We're open 11-6pm for adoptions!

Time for a game! What breed/breeds do you think Maya is? While we don’t assign breeds to our dogs here at the shelter (visual breed identification can be very inaccurate) some dogs arrive with DNA test results - and Maya is one of them! Comment below and we’ll reveal the answer later today!

Max loves field trips! He is well behaved in the car, a good boy on leash and loves watching the squirrels run up and down the trees! Here at the shelter Max enjoys playful dog friends and spending time snuggling with the volunteers. Interested in meeting Max? Stop by the shelter!

☀🐢Sun's out, turtles out! (That's the saying, right? 😂) Since yesterday was such a gorgeous day, staff set up an enrichment pool outside for Barney the turtle! He loved it! Need a basking buddy? Stop by the shelter and ask staff about Barney today!

Meet Marley & Reggie, a bonded senior BFF duo! They're vintage, seasoned, classic. They’ve swapped puppy chaos for backyard fetch (with plenty of belly rub breaks). They do well with mellow dogs and might enjoy a dog sibling in a future home. Ready for double the love? Meet them at LCAS today! 🐾

Shaco knows you were about to scroll right past him and he’s not mad at you, he’s just disappointed. With 13 years of sunbeam-earned wisdom, Shaco is prepared to forgive if you visit him in person (and bring a catnip mouse toy, his favorite). We’re open for adoptions from 11am–6pm!
