If you're looking for a good book for a friend or family member just getting into Anime then "Ultimate Anime" By Joe O'Connell is a good place to start. It has a kind of magazine style format, accessible writing style and some beautiful screenshots including some 2 page stunners. Recommended.

Rewatching Sol Bianca and forgot just how beautiful the character designs are. In fact everything in this OVA looks great. The tech design, backgrounds, all of it...like many OVAs of the era so much love was poured into it. Shame the original version was unfinished. Such a mood. #RetroAnime #OVAs

Wow. This is such great news. I'm not even a sports Manga guy but Hajime No Ippo transcends genre, it's an amazing story with absolutely incredible art. Joji Morikawa's panels will make your eyes pop. He conveys movement in fights better than some animators do. #Manga
